This original hand-coloured engraving depicts 7 tortricid moths a pupa and an infested bean. Printed around 1897 by Wyman and Sons, possibly for the Entomological Society in London.
Nine finely detailed images in vibrant green, rich browns, oranges, and subtle earth tones—each numbered with its Latin name—plus central illustrations of a larval pupa and an infested bean, set against a clean white background framed by gilt borders.
