We are committed to ensuring your custom picture mounts, antique and vintage prints arrive safely and in perfect condition. This page outlines our delivery options, timeframes, and returns policy.

Delivery Options & Costs

All orders are carefully packaged and shipped securely using Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Signature service.

  • UK Delivery: Flat £6.50 shipping fee for all orders. We currently deliver within the UK only.
  • International Delivery: We do not currently offer international delivery.

Processing & Delivery Timeframes

Processing Time:

  • Prints: 1-2 business days
  • Custom Picture Mounts: 2-5 business days

UK Delivery: After processing, Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Signature typically delivers within 1-2 working days. Most custom mount orders placed Monday-Thursday arrive within one week. Please note that delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services.

Order Processing

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. When your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number. Processing times are stated above, though during busy periods this may take slightly longer.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping notification email containing a tracking number. You can use this number to track your parcel through our courier's tracking system. Please keep this information for your records.

Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns policy varies by product type:

Custom Picture Mounts

Bespoke custom picture mounts are made-to-order to your exact specifications and cannot be returned for change of mind or your measuring errors.

We accept returns for custom mounts only in the following circumstances:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Incorrect cutting (our error)
  • Damage during transit

Please measure carefully before ordering. If you receive a defective or incorrectly cut mount, contact us immediately with photos. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

Prints

If you are not happy with your print for any reason, you may return it within 14 days of receipt with proof of postage for a full refund (less shipping costs in some cases).

To be eligible for return, your print must:

  • Be in the same condition as received (undamaged and unframed if shipped unframed)
  • Be dispatched within 14 days of receipt with proof of postage
  • Include original packaging if possible
  • Not show signs of use, handling damage, or alteration

Antique and vintage prints are sold "as-is" and may have minor imperfections consistent with their age.

How to Return an Item

If you wish to return an item, please contact us at contact@foresthillartshouse.store with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with return shipping instructions.

Please return items via a trackable shipping method. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 7 working days.

Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds: Once we have received and inspected your returned item and confirmed it meets our return conditions, we will process a full refund of the item price. Original shipping costs, if any, which you paid are non-refundable. Refunds are typically processed within 7 working days and will be credited to your original payment method.

Exchanges: If you would prefer to exchange an item for a different one, please contact us to arrange this. We will cover the cost of return shipping if the exchange is due to an error on our part or a faulty item.

Damaged Items in Transit

We take great care in packaging your prints to protect them during transit. However, if your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage and original packaging. We will arrange a replacement where available or refund at no cost to you including any postage costs you paid.
