Extracted from Soleils, Tome I, published Paris 1947 by Éditions Arts et Métiers Graphiques; a large folio described as the first and only issue, limited to 1,000 copies (or 200 reserved for Cercle d'Échanges Artistiques Internationaux members). Page measures 9.5 × 12.5 in.
Colour woodcuts by André Derain in bold geometric style: teal, ochre, crimson, and olive tones. Side A shows a single full-length Panurge figure with French Old French caption text below; Side B presents four smaller character vignettes alongside period typography in spaced small-caps.
