Front bears a Parfums Bruyère advertisement illustrated by Paulin and engraved by Grizeaud — a goddess figure holding an open book inscribed "Tendance En Attendant Caractère" amid swirling foliage in pastel greens, coral, and gold. Reverse shows a minimalist Les Parfums Chanel, Paris advertisement featuring bold sans-serif typography above a gold-and-black sun emblem; page numbered 105.
Soleils was published in Paris in 1947 by Éditions Arts et Métiers Graphiques, under the auspices of the Cercle d’Échanges Artistiques Internationaux, Section des Métiers d’Art. It was a large folio publication of 124 pages, richly illustrated, and at least one specialist bookseller describes it as the “first and only issue.”
