This original hand-coloured print depicts the Eider Duck, Fork-tailed Petrel and Red-throated Diver in three finely detailed vignettes. It measures 7 x 4.5 in and was sourced from The Feathered Tribes of the British Isles by Robert Mudie, published around 1840. > The print shows a seated Eider Duck at the top, a walking Fork-tailed Petrel in the centre, and a floating Red-throated Diver at the bottom, all rendered in delicate watercolour over engraving. > > Lettering (in script below each figure): “Eider Duck”, “Fork-tailed Petrel”, “Red Throated Diver”.
